Step 1: Open the Gate App, tap [Deposit] on the homepage, and choose [Quick Buy] or [P2P] trading. Or you can also tap the avatar in the upper right corner and select [P2P] to enter the fiat trading page.
Step 2: On the P2P trading page, choose a suitable merchant and tap [Buy] on the right.
Example – Buying Cryptos:
- Choose the token you want to trade (USDT/BTC/ETH/DOGE).
- Tap [Amount] to enter the crypto amount you want to buy.
- Tap [Payment Method] to filter and select your preferred payment option.
From the merchant listings, select a merchant you wish to trade with and tap [Buy].
Step 3: After selecting a merchant, enter the crypto amount or fiat amount, then tap [Buy] at the bottom. A confirmation window will appear—check the purchase details carefully and tap [Buy] again to confirm.
Step 4: Once the order is matched, the status will show as [Pending Payment] on the right side of the page. You can also go to [Orders] to view and complete the payment.
Step 5: Tap [View Payment Details] to see the seller's payment information. Complete the payment using the provided details within 15 minutes, then tap [I have Paid].
Note: The buyer must manually complete the payment within 15 minutes (the platform does not deduct funds automatically) and tap [I have Paid]. Otherwise, the order will be automatically canceled after 15 minutes, and the cryptos will be returned to the seller's account for relisting. Failure to follow the instructions may result in loss of both funds and cryptos!
Step 6: Once the order is completed, you can view the order details under [Orders] – [Completed].
