EigenLayer, Polymarket, and UMA collaborate to develop a next-generation Oracle Machine system

ChainCatcher News, according to The Block, Decentralizationstakeprotocol EigenLayer, prediction market platform Polymarket, and DecentralizationOracle Machineprotocol UMA announced a partnership to jointly develop a new generation Oracle Machine system. The system will be developed based on EigenLayer’s infrastructure, leveraging its stake mechanism and EIGEN Token, and will verify the truth of facts through ‘intersubjective Consensus,’ a mechanism that relies on community Consensus rather than purely objective data. EigenLayer’s technology allows users to reuse staked ETH or liquid stakeTokens to secure additional services such as Oracle Machine, while being secured by the Ethereum network. Polymarket is currently using UMA’s optimistic Oracle Machine system for market settlement, successfully handling over 10,000 prediction markets, with the vast majority of outcomes undisputed. The collaborative project is still in the research and development phase, and specific technical architecture and launch schedule have not been disclosed to the public yet.
