Odaily Planet Daily reports that former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz was appointed as an independent director of the company’s board on January 5th and will join the audit committee. Brian Quintenz previously served as the head of policy at a16z crypto, and his CFTC chair nomination was withdrawn last year. SUI Group stated that this move aims to leverage its capital markets and regulatory experience to advance the company’s SUI treasury strategy. As of now, SUI Group’s treasury holds approximately 108 million SUI tokens. Additionally, Michael Selig took over as CFTC Chair in December of last year.
