Gate.io News bot message, a recent public opinion survey on virtual assets and tokenization conducted by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Business School shows that about 25% of respondents expressed their intention to hold virtual assets in the future. This percentage rose by 6 points after a cryptocurrency platform was implicated in a fraud incident in mid-September 2023.


The survey also found that 81% of respondents expressed interest in holding Bitcoin, an increase of 7 percentage points from the first survey.
