Recently, I came across an interesting project @MultichainZ_
It is a cross-chain lending protocol that allows you to use yield-bearing assets (like stablecoins, RWA) as collateral to borrow on different chains without bridging.
By connecting traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi), it opens up multi-chain liquidity channels, enabling assets to generate returns continuously while being flexibly used across various chains.
What’s particularly interesting is its cross-chain lending feature, which lets you use assets as collateral on one chain and lend out funds on another chain without manual bridging.
For example, you can stake USDC or yield assets on Ethereum, while directly borrowing on other chains like Base, Avalanche, or Plume—all within the same transaction.
This model maximizes users’ capital efficiency and concentrates liquidity, eliminating waste caused by assets being spread across different chains.
Its advantages include:
1️⃣ Lower costs: Avoid multiple bridging steps and reduce gas consumption
2️⃣ Greater flexibility: Borrow where needed, regardless of which chain the collateral is on
3️⃣ Simplicity: Manage multi-chain borrowing and lending through a single interface without frequent asset transfers
