Trading is not for everybody. You see the Lambos and the girls and the big houses, but most of it is fake. Most "day traders" just want to show you their big green days. They don't show you their losers or their long-term gains.

The day I quit day trading and using high-leverage on high risk assets was one of the best days of my life. Our strategy at Overkill Trading is centered on a long-term mindset, backed by logic, data, and discipline. If you are following my trading journey and this channel and using the tools and strategies we implement here to try to buy and sell at the best possible time, you need a long-term mindset.

We look 1-6 months out on ALL investments. Meaning if you use a signal to buy, you have to be able to hold those assets for AT LEAST 6 months! That doesn't mean buy something and it goes down 30% the next week and you panic sell it... that would not have been the strategy or plan going into that trade. This is where the discipline comes in.

Checking the price and obsessing about it every day will not do you any good with our strategy. A farmer does not dig up the seed that he planted every day to check and see if it is growing.

Too many people get into this thinking they are going to get rich easily, but this is just like everything else in life, nothing worth having comes easy, and there will always be things along the way that will teach you things and ultimately you will learn from your mistakes and keep getting better, or you will quit and find something else. If you are tired and feel like giving up and want to pursue something else, then do it. There's no shame in saying "this isn't for me" but whatever you go do next there will be obsticles and road blocks you are going to have to overcome and if you want to be successful at it or anything else you'll have to learn how to navigate those things. Quitting is not in my blood or in my DNA, and failure is never final in the kingdom of God. Stand strong, Spartans.
