Recently, I was chatting with my fren, and the topic unconsciously turned to Blockchain and infrastructure. We particularly talked about Canton Network, which has an interesting positioning - a blockchain network specifically designed for institutional finance. This reminded me of a question I have been pondering: what is the actual value of Web3 and Blockchain? The key is not how cool the technology itself is, but whether it can truly meet the upgrading needs of TradFi. Infrastructure projects like Canton Network that focus on institutional finance seem to have grasped this entry point. Compared to those projects that merely chase trends, the direction of targeting institutions and pursuing Compliance and practicality might be where Blockchain can truly take root.
