Viggo Halseth will assume the position of Chair at Proximar Seafood AS (PROXI.OL) following the departure of current Chair Kjell-Erik Østdahl, who will step down effective January 1, 2026.

Halseth, who has been serving on the Board since 2022, brings nearly four decades of leadership experience in the aquaculture feed sector. His extensive background includes pivotal roles at major industry players Nutreco and Skretting, where he held several senior positions including Chief Innovation Officer at Nutreco and Chief Executive Officer of both Skretting Norway and the broader Skretting Group.

The newly appointed Chair will lead the organization until the next General Meeting, at which point a permanent successor may be formally elected. This leadership change represents a strategic move to leverage Halseth’s substantial expertise and track record in driving innovation and operational excellence within the global seafood nutrition industry.
