2025 is coming to an end. If I were to rate my performance this year, it would really be a fail. It's a bit frustrating to say, mainly because I got caught up with ZEC and now I am deeply trapped, feeling a bit exhausted looking at the numbers in my account.

During this end-of-year period, the market has been changing so rapidly. I initially thought I could turn things around, but instead, I’ve fallen even deeper. Sometimes, looking at the market makes me feel quite powerless. The biggest lesson from trading so far is: sometimes persistence isn't necessarily correct; when it's time to cut losses, you have to be ruthless.

ZEC is really a trap; I've fallen for it too. Now it's just a matter of whether to cut losses or not. Stop-loss is easy to talk about but hard to do; seeing unrealized losses makes it hard to take action. 2025 isn't over yet, don't be too discouraged. Let's start over next year. Being trapped feels really bad; you need to think about what to do. What to hold on to? If you should run, just run. Don't wait until your capital is completely lost.

ZEC is really amazing. I've been burned by it before. Now I just hold it dead. If you're deeply trapped, don't look at the market anymore. The more you look, the more uncomfortable you feel. Stop-loss is easy to talk about, but when it really happens, no one wants to cut their losses. This year hasn't been easy for any of us. But on the other hand, maybe next year we'll have another chance to start over.
