**National Cycle Law: From the Roman Empire to Modern Superpowers**

Historical patterns tell us that nations are not infinitely prosperous. Every great power goes through a lifecycle: creation → growth → peak → decline → endgame. The only difference is the speed.

The Roman Empire took 500 years to complete the entire cycle. And then what? Spain, the Netherlands, and the UK successively appeared, with each era's cycle accelerating.

Interestingly, this national strength cycle is closely related to economic cycles and asset cycles. The decline of great powers is often accompanied by currency devaluation, capital outflows, and a surge in the demand for diversified asset allocation. This also explains why more and more institutions and individuals are beginning to allocate cross-border assets, including digital assets.

What do you think? Are these historical cycles already accelerating?

The thing about cycle acceleration is, frankly, that information flows faster, and decision-making efficiency improves accordingly. During the Roman Empire, information was transmitted by horseback, but now it's at the millisecond level, so decline naturally happens faster.

Really? So which country is currently rushing to the peak or has already started to decline?

The Roman Empire lasted 500 years. What is truly needed now? In an acceleration cycle, are digital assets really the only way out?

The acceleration of the cycle is real... Speaking of which, digital asset allocation has now become a hedging method.

The discussion about cycle acceleration is a bit too absolute; it feels like an overinterpretation.

So, the cycle acceleration thing, we're actually experiencing it right now. --- Can't keep up anymore, capital has all moved on-chain. --- Rome took 500 years, now it might be done in 50 years... what a fast nested cycle. --- The idea of cross-border asset allocation is just another way of saying asset flight. --- The cycle theory is well explained, but the key is really to figure out which stage we're in right now. --- In digital assets, it's truly the last lifeboat during great power struggles. --- History always moves in a spiral upward; cycle acceleration is just an appearance. The real focus is on who is bottom-fishing. --- This logic is a bit too idealistic today; the reality is much more complex. --- Crypto enthusiasts have long been voting with their wallets. --- I don't know if acceleration has really sped up, but it's true that people without cash are starting to allocate to digital assets.

The logic that the cycle is accelerating is justifiable, but the interpretation of the digital asset configuration numbers might be a bit overdone...

Period acceleration, to put it simply, is an information explosion. Everything is fast now. However, I think there's some overhype in the digital asset space; the real opportunities for bottom-fishing are actually in undervalued traditional assets.
