Salute to those legendary investors who:

Just have a gut feeling
Swear there's some hidden reason they can't explain
Trust their buddy's advice like it's gospel
Shrug it off with 'whatever'
Quickly pivot: 'yeah but at least X performed worse than Y'
Suddenly change topics: 'anyway, forget about that, let's discuss Z instead'
Took one course five years ago
Vaguely remember seeing something once
Heard it from a friend, who heard it from their mom, who knew a guy, who knew another guy

These are the visionaries steering the ship. Building the future, one gut call at a time.

Haha, isn't this just the group of people around me? One more confident than the other.

Haha, this is exactly the kind of people around me. --- "According to my friend," they start off, go all-in immediately, brag about winning for half a year, and when they lose, they change their tune and say they got cut. --- Wow, that sarcasm is pretty harsh, it hits too many people. --- Five years ago, I listened to a podcast where someone dared to say they understood investing — typical. --- The last line, "a gut call," translates to just gambling on luck. --- Basically, they just want to make quick money without doing any homework, blaming the market is much faster than self-reflection. --- It's hard to collapse; some people I know are exactly like that, and they still point fingers all day. --- I've seen the "anyway, X is more broken" trick too many times. When they lose, they just compare themselves to the worst. Respect.

Haha, this sarcasm is too perfect. All the people around me are like this. --- Exactly, relying on gut feeling to make big money is just survivor bias. --- Oh my god, a five-year-old class can still be considered a treasure, truly amazing. --- The last one "a friend of a friend's mom" made me laugh to death. This rumor chain is too ridiculous. --- But on the other hand, sometimes intuition really can win, just not many times, haha. --- I need to forward this article to my friend who only looks at horoscopes when trading cryptocurrencies. --- I've heard the phrase "at least lost less than X" too many times. --- A course from five years ago can support an investment career? Dream on.
