Crypto adoption isn't hindered by lack of user demand—that's not the real bottleneck. What actually holds back mainstream adoption is the friction in user experience that keeps resetting trust cycles. Each friction point forces users to re-evaluate, and trust gets rebuilt from scratch every time. That gap between seamless experience and repeated trust-rebuilding is where solutions need to focus. Until we bridge that friction, even strong demand won't translate into sustained adoption.

Basically, the experience is too poor, and users have to trust again each time. Who can handle that?

NGL, Friction is quite right about this—too many projects focus only on marketing and neglect user experience. The cycle of rebuilding trust is really exhausting; every time, you have to start from zero. Honestly, it's just that the product isn't good enough. No matter how many features or demands there are, it can't save it. If the experience is just a little bit bad, users will leave—that's the real bottleneck.

NGL, this is the key. Friction in user experience is indeed the biggest enemy... It's really exhausting to have to rebuild trust every time.

Well said, this is exactly the point I've been wanting to criticize. Users are not lacking at all; it's just that every time they tinker around, they have to trust again, which is so annoying. --- Experiencing poor service once or twice is one thing, but the real issue is the repeated feeling of being "cut" like harvesting chives—who would still dare to continue? --- Exactly, the bottleneck has never been on the demand side; it's always that the product is just too poorly made. Without solving this, how can mainstream adoption be expected? --- The term "friction" is used perfectly... Every time, trust has to be rebuilt from scratch. Why not just stick to traditional finance then? --- Stop talking, I'm really fed up with this repeated trust reconstruction. Just deliver a seamless experience already.

ngl That's why I see so many people entering and leaving the crypto space... The experience is really that bad.
