#密码资产动态追踪 It's 2 a.m., and my phone vibrated again. A friend from Dongguan was panicking in a voice message: "Bro, I went all-in with 10,000 U on $XRP at 10x leverage, just a 3% pullback and my account was wiped out. How is that possible?"

Looking at his trading record, he went all-in with 9,500 U in one shot, without even setting a stop-loss. This guy directly put 95% of his capital into it.

Many people have a deep-rooted misconception about full position sizing—they think the bigger the position, the better they can withstand risk. In reality, it's the opposite: **using the wrong position size is more dangerous than high leverage alone**.

**Why is it so easy to get liquidated with a full position? The key isn’t the leverage number, but the proportion of the position size**

For example, with a 1,000 U account:
- Using 900 U at 10x leverage? A 5% adverse move and the account is wiped out
- Using only 100 U at 10x leverage? It takes a 50% adverse move to get liquidated

Same 10x leverage, but the results are worlds apart. My friend fell into the trap of "overloading the full position."

**3 principles to make your trading more stable**

1. **Never use more than 20% of your funds in a single trade**
With a 10,000 U account, invest at most 2,000 U at once. Even if you get the direction wrong and set a 10% stop-loss, you only lose 200 U, which won’t hurt your principal. You can always start over.

2. **Strictly limit single-loss to within 3%**
Using 2,000 U at 10x leverage, set a 1.5% stop-loss in advance. A 300 U loss is exactly 3% of your total funds. Even if you make several wrong calls in a row, it won’t cause serious damage.

3. **In volatile markets, stay on the sidelines; don’t add to your position after profits**
Only trade breakout opportunities. Don’t trade during sideways consolidation, no matter how tempting. After opening a position, no matter how much you’re making, don’t add more. This helps minimize emotional trading.

**The true meaning of full position: leave enough buffer, not gamble your life**

The purpose of a full position is to leave room for market fluctuations, but only if you trade lightly and have strict risk controls.

There was a trader who kept blowing up his account every month. By following these 3 principles consistently, he went from 5,000 U to 8,000 U steadily in 3 months. He later said, "I used to think full position was gambling with my life. Now I realize, using full position correctly actually helps me stay safer."

Crypto markets are risky; risk management is always the top priority. Think through the fundamentals, technicals, and psychology. Cut losses when needed, stay on the sidelines when appropriate. Only then can you survive longer and earn steadily through cycles.

This is a classic case of mechanism design failure. The "full position" without constraints essentially involves unlimited risk exposure, just like the unchecked decentralization of power in DAO proposals, which is equally dangerous.

Another story of full-position liquidation. This guy is really ruthless, going all-in with $9,500 on XRP without even setting a stop-loss... This is purely gambling.

That's true, going all-in without a stop-loss is suicide, this guy deserves it.

9500U All-in is truly a suicide attack in the crypto world. I respect you for being a real man. No, did this guy not set a stop-loss? Then it's not trading, it's gambling, the kind where you hold a knife to your neck. Controlling 20% of the position has really saved me many times... otherwise, I would have long been paired with the liquidation price. Really, if risk control isn't done well, going all-in is equivalent to total destruction. Leverage is actually just a side dish. Looking at this guy's record, I think of myself two years ago... but at least I still had some bottom line back then. By the way, XRP has always been volatile, and going all-in on it is just asking for a margin call. Three months from 5000U to 8000U... this guy definitely executed perfectly, much more reliable than my pattern of trading two days and resting one. Stop-loss is like a condom; no matter how annoying, you have to put it on, or you'll bear the consequences.
