POL goes against the trend: Can the deflationary mechanism of burning + staking support ecosystem growth?

Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】POL’s recent performance has not been ideal, with the price plunging by 6.7%, but the story behind it may be overlooked by the market. Sandeep Nailwal, the leader of Polygon, recently explained the value logic of POL very clearly — this system is driven by ecosystem expansion.

What exactly is going on? POL employs a dual mechanism of burning and staking, simply put, continuously shrinking the circulating supply while allowing token holders to earn rewards through staking. This deflationary design sounds old-fashioned, but it’s not so easy to implement. The latest Polygon launch, the Open Money Stack plan, is the highlight — this system is specifically optimized for on-chain finance, directly targeting pain points in the DeFi ecosystem.

A price decline does not mean it has no value. From a fundamental perspective, POL’s token mechanism is quite solid, and the logic of ecosystem growth is also credible. This period is actually a window to observe the project’s real progress.

Burning + staking, this combo sounds good, but it all depends on whether Polygon can really build up its ecosystem... By the way, is Open Money Stack reliable?

Destroying staked assets sounds quite devout, but isn't Open Money Stack the real deal? After all these years of DeFi pain points, someone is finally taking serious action.

It's the same old trick of burning + staking again, getting tired of hearing it... But to be honest, Open Money Stack really has something this time. If they can truly solve the pain points of DeFi, that would be amazing.

Does destroying the old and outdated staking system really save POL? Honestly, I don't quite believe it; relying solely on the deflation mechanism has already been played out. Open Money Stack sounds impressive, but can the ecosystem really take off? That's the real question. A 6.7% price plunge—blame it on the market not understanding? That's unlikely; maybe it's just not worth that much. No matter how solid the fundamentals are, an ecosystem without users is pointless. How Polygon's next move will turn out still depends on the actual data that follows.

Hmm... The cycle of destruction + staking is back again. It sounds great, but how many can really be implemented? By the way, if Open Money Stack can truly solve the pain points of DeFi, that would be impressive. But it's still too early to say. Watching and waiting. POL has dropped quite sharply this time. Ecosystem expansion alone isn't enough; there needs to be actual growth data to support it. Wait, if this price decline continues, will staking yields still be attractive? It feels a bit like a chicken-and-egg situation. The fundamentals are solid, but I'm more concerned about how many active users are actually using the ecosystem. No matter how good the hype, it can't withstand reality.

Burning + staking, this combo sounds good, but I don't know how long it can last. Open Money Stack has to prove itself through real-world application.

Burning + staking sounds good, but it depends on what Polygon can actually deliver.
