A recent case of a typical cryptocurrency scam has been exposed again. Vietnamese police in Da Nang arrested five suspects who operated out of Cambodia, engaging in a deceptive scheme—directly impersonating a well-known exchange to commit fraud, ultimately embezzling 14 billion VND.
These scammers' tactics are not new, but they are quite ruthless. They created numerous fake accounts on Zalo and Telegram, impersonating "investment experts" or "financial advisors," boasting about false profit prospects to victims and gradually inducing them to invest funds. The key point is that the profit figures they reported were all fabricated—these earnings were completely fake.
Once they received the money, these individuals began transferring funds. They used multiple bank accounts for layered transfers, finally converting everything into cryptocurrency. This method is intended to obscure the source of the funds and make tracking more difficult. This case serves as a reminder to everyone in the investment field to stay vigilant—don't be blinded by promises of high returns; legitimate channels are the only guarantee.

14 billion shields just gone like that, really incredible... This trick, when you get right down to it, is the same old story — scammers are just getting better at packaging themselves.

There are new scammers every day, and they all use the same tricks. Do they really think we're that stupid?
