Dusk Foundation, after years of technological accumulation and ecosystem development, is now entering a harvest period — the Dusk EVM testnet has officially launched, signaling the countdown to the mainnet release. This blockchain network, specifically designed for institutional-grade compliant finance, is about to move from the testing phase to full mainnet operation.
From a technical perspective, the release of Dusk EVM has achieved compatibility with a well-known L1 chain, SVM. This design offers a practical benefit — mature DApps running smoothly on that L1 chain can migrate to the Dusk network more seamlessly, significantly shortening the ecosystem development cycle from zero to one. The testnet has already processed over 5.37 billion transactions. The data is here, and both network stability and throughput have been tested, laying a solid foundation for subsequent institutional applications.
In terms of ecosystem, Dusk’s reputation is quite strong. Besides deep collaborations with leading infrastructure providers like NPEX and Chainlink, Dusk has also partnered with Quanto Z, a MiCA-compliant electronic money institution, to expand into the payments sector. Additionally, partnerships with oracle providers like Pyth and cross-chain solutions such as Wormhole have strengthened data reliability and cross-chain asset circulation capabilities. These collaborations cover the entire chain, including compliant asset onboarding, cross-chain circulation, and ecosystem applications.
Dusk Foundation has also introduced a revenue-sharing mechanism to incentivize ecosystem participants to create value for the network. This logic can generate positive feedback, attracting more participants to join the ecosystem.
