Should I persist? In such a market environment, I want to say: yes, absolutely.

But persistence is not about stubbornly holding on, nor is it about stubbornly enduring. True persistence means staying in the game with a clearer mind.

From the impulsiveness of gamblers, to the shortsightedness of speculators, and then to the rationality of investors and researchers—this shift in identity is the key. The same act of persistence can have completely different qualities.

Some people remain stagnant in the market, while others are gradually upgrading their thinking and decision-making logic. The crypto market changes rapidly, but the fastest-changing aspect should be our understanding of the market. Don't just think about "making or losing money," but instead consider "why we make money and why we lose."

Persist, but do so more intelligently.

That's very true. You really need to break away from the gambler's mindset. Those who survive this wave are all logical people. Persistence is fine, but you must be clear about what you're persisting for. The difference between chasing gains and selling on dips and analyzing fundamentals is huge. Most people haven't upgraded their thinking; they're just repeating losses. Sticking to it with clarity—that's what hits home. Raging stubbornly and rationally persisting are really not the same thing.

There's nothing wrong with that, but the quality of persistence is way too different. Gambler and investor are both in the market, but the results are worlds apart. Only after understanding this can you truly stay. Proactiveness is a hundred times more important than chicken soup. Think carefully before acting; acting blindly is faster.

There's nothing wrong with what you said; the transition from gambler to investor is truly a watershed moment. In simple terms, you need to have your own logic and not just follow the crowd blindly. What to persist with? The key is to understand what you're doing before entering the market. The biggest takeaway from this round is learning to cut losses, which is more important than anything else. Those who wake up are indeed upgrading their thinking, while sleepers are still stuck in the same place.
