Many people have lofty ideals, but reality is quite harsh. Where exactly is the gap? Actually, there are only three issues:

First, skills haven't kept up. It's not that you don't want to do certain things, but that you genuinely can't. You need to acknowledge your limitations and then diligently work to fill the gaps.

Second, actually, you don't want it that much. Don't deceive yourself; if you truly desire it, you would have taken action already. Some dreams look beautiful but are too exhausting to pursue.

Third, you're terrified. You know what to do, but just can't take that step. This is the most painful—it's not that you can't, but that you don't dare.

Want to break the deadlock? It's not that complicated. First, elevate your mindset; don't get trapped by your own perceptions. Second, you need to have a tough mind; this world won't coddle you. Once these two are sorted, there's only one thing left—start moving today, don't wait until tomorrow.

That hits too close to home. I'm the second type—having a bunch of dreams, but pursuing them all is just exhausting.

You're not wrong, but the third point hits the hardest. I know what to do, but I just can't take the step. I'm just such a failure.

That's really hitting home, and the second point is the most critical... Many times, it's just laziness to move.

That really hits close to home... The third point really struck a chord with me. I clearly know what to do, but I just can't take that step. The feeling is incredible.

That really hits home. The third point truly strikes a nerve; knowing what to do but just can't take that one step forward. Wait, so we're just afraid. We talk about perspective and cognition every day, but in the end, we still have to grit our teeth and go for it. There's no shortcut. Are we afraid of being too different or incapable? It feels more deadly than lacking ability. Which is more reliable, dreams or laziness? I bet on laziness. This article is good because it says what needs to be said, but after reading it, you still have to do what you need to do. People are like that—knowing is one thing, changing is another. Listening to motivational quotes alone is useless. The ability is indeed a shortcoming, but compared to that, attitude is still the biggest drag.

There's nothing wrong with that, but most people just can't get into it. The third point is the most genuine—having enough ability and perspective, but being timid.

That's really hitting home, especially the second point. I have to admit that I'm the kind of person who looks like they really want to but is too lazy to move. Which is more tempting: dreams or Netflix? It's obvious.
