Revenge trading after a loss is the hardest to identify.

Because it doesn't appear as obvious as greed. It wears the guise of rationality.

You tell yourself: there's no problem with the logic of this bet, the data supports it, and the technicals look good. The account needs a turnaround, and the odds are in my favor.

But in reality, your judgment criteria have already been distorted. The emotional impact of the loss unconsciously alters your risk tolerance and stop-loss discipline.

The most dangerous trades often appear the most rational.

Oh no, this is the scene of my self-deception during my biggest loss wave. I really thought my logic was flawless at the time. Basically, it was self-hypnosis; I had to turn it around no matter what. The worst thing is this kind of madness disguised in data. You can't even realize you're gambling. After losing, your mind just doesn't work properly. Stop-loss discipline and all that are just nonsense. This article hit me right in the heart. Truly, reflecting.
