After reviewing the market, tonight's key point isn't the magnitude of the rise or fall, but whether the main cryptocurrencies have broken their levels.
Bitcoin is experiencing high-level consolidation, but the key structure remains intact. Neither bulls nor bears have a clear advantage; essentially, everyone is waiting for a confirmation signal. This isn't a sign of turning bearish; the market is searching for direction.
Ethereum is clearly weaker than BTC, but the critical support at the bottom is still holding firm. As long as there isn't a massive volume breakdown through that support, it will continue to follow BTC's consolidation pattern.
Ethereum's recent movement is interesting; its correction pace is very methodical, which is a sign of strength. Strong coins don't need to be pushed up every day; just maintaining stability without collapsing already means they've won.
ZEC shows the greatest emotional volatility, but a closer look indicates it's in a phase of oversold correction and shakeout. As long as it doesn't break below key levels, there's no need to rush to conclusions.
Overall review, my three iron rules are:
▸ Don't heavily allocate in markets that haven't broken levels
▸ Don't blindly add positions without a trend
▸ Holding cash when possible is itself a form of strength
What is the smartest move tonight? Secure your positions, adjust your mindset, put down your phone. Wait for the market to give its own answer, rather than trying to invent one. Often, good defense in the present is more valuable than blind aggression.
