Harbor Enterprise (00051.HK) Annual Net Loss Attributable to Shareholders: HKD 234 million
Gelonghui, March 5 — Harbour Centre Development Limited (00051.HK) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The group recorded a basic net loss of HKD 22 million (2024: profit of HKD 83 million). After provisioning for impairment of HKD 255 million related to development properties, the loss widened to HKD 244 million. Profit from investment properties declined 11% to HKD 125 million, while hotel losses narrowed 59% to HKD 27 million. Including the net revaluation deficit of HKD 212 million on investment properties, the group reported a attributable net loss to shareholders of HKD 234 million (2024: loss of HKD 70 million).
Group revenue decreased 1% to HKD 1.345 billion, with operating profit down 42% to HKD 235 million. Hotel revenue increased 5% to HKD 918 million, with operating losses reduced by 67% to HKD 18 million. Revenue in Hong Kong rose 7% to HKD 822 million, returning to an operating profit of HKD 12 million due to higher occupancy rates. Revenue from Mainland China fell 11% to HKD 96 million, with operating losses expanding to HKD 30 million. Revenue from investment properties decreased 12% to HKD 175 million, with operating profit also down 12% to HKD 150 million, mainly due to lower retail rental income. Revenue from development properties declined 24% to HKD 116 million, recording an operating loss of HKD 21 million due to reduced recognized sales. The investment’s operating profit (mainly dividend income) was HKD 126 million.
The revaluation of investment properties was based on independent valuations as of December 31, 2025, and resulted in a fair value loss of HKD 212 million, which has been recognized in the comprehensive income statement.
