On March 4th, People’s Financial News reported that at the 2026 National Two Sessions, NPC Deputy and Xiaomi Group Founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun submitted five proposals, including one to optimize motor vehicle driving assessment items. He expressed hope that the relevant authorities and industry organizations would take the lead, guide various automobile manufacturers to work together, and promote the extension of driving assessment projects into the intelligent vehicle field; steadily increase the weight of intelligent vehicle-related content in driving tests; and guide drivers to firmly establish the concept of “human-machine collaboration” for safe driving.
