People’s Finance News, March 4 — At the 2026 National Two Sessions, NPC Deputy Lei Jun proposed to improve the multi-party collaborative governance system and jointly build a traffic safety system for the intelligent driving era. Among the suggestions, he recommended including Level 2 assisted driving “hands-free and eyes-free” into traffic violation penalties and quickly clarifying safety standards for Level 3 and Level 4 intelligent driving.
