Ping An China 24-Hour Rapid Rescue, Assisting the First Batch of Corporate Clients in Evacuating the Middle East
In response to the recent Middle East situation that has caused many Ping An customers to be stranded, China Ping An has coordinated its property insurance, life insurance, health insurance, and banking companies to issue early warnings and evacuation suggestions immediately. They are also collecting information on personnel and customer needs in the affected areas. It is reported that Ping An’s Global Emergency Rescue Service Center has been continuously alerting customers to potential risks and sending specialized risk analysis reports. To date, Ping An has issued 59 risk warning messages, published 23 risk analysis reports, responded to 52 customer inquiries, and successfully helped two corporate clients evacuate safely from the Middle East “danger zone” within 24 hours.
As the situation escalates, Ping An has received increasing evacuation requests from customers. On March 3, a large Chinese-funded group contacted Ping An’s global emergency rescue hotline for help. The company focuses on the development and manufacturing of new energy drones and is a representative of Chinese enterprises expanding into the “new energy equipment + low-altitude economy” sectors overseas. Ping An is their provider of overseas safety assurance services. The company’s two employees planned to fly back home from the UAE (near Iran), but due to the conflict, commercial flights were disrupted. They needed to evacuate by land to Oman for transfer, with a drive of about 400 kilometers from Dubai to Muscat International Airport, which during the conflict period took 8 to 11 hours. After receiving the evacuation request, Ping An immediately activated its global emergency rescue mechanism:
1. Complete rescue deployment within 6 hours: Coordinate local security forces, cross-border transportation resources, and border liaison officers to develop a safe evacuation route;
2. Route planning in conflict zones: Avoid military facilities, demonstration areas, and shelling zones, choosing secondary roads and concealed passages;
3. Border clearance coordination: Rely on long-term cooperation with suppliers and Omani border authorities, pre-declare personnel information to ensure quick clearance;
4. Full escort with private vehicles and high-end security: To ensure the safety of clients, rescue security consultants arranged for private cars and armed escort teams for close protection throughout the process.
Currently, the two employees have safely transferred from the dangerous Middle East area and are returning to China via third countries with Ping An’s assistance.
From early warning to emergency evacuation, Ping An has fulfilled its promise to support outbound companies and Chinese compatriots in “getting out and returning safely.” It is reported that this rescue is the only case nationwide where a financial insurance institution has assisted Chinese employees in safely evacuating from a “danger zone” in the Middle East. Currently, three other Chinese companies have requested Ping An’s assistance for relocation in the Middle East “danger zones,” and evacuation plans are being developed. Ping An will continue to monitor clients in high-risk areas, mobilize global rescue resources at any time, and respond promptly to customer rescue needs, providing help to Chinese nationals in war zones.
Unlike traditional insurance products that pay after a claim, Ping An adheres to the philosophy of “providing services even without claims,” emphasizing proactive service and full-cycle risk management. A Ping An official stated that before this sudden military action, Ping An had issued a high-risk alert regarding the Middle East as early as January 12, proactively sending warning messages to clients in the region, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating evacuation resources to ensure timely rescue services.
It is also known that Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance has successful experience in assisting clients with cross-border evacuations. In June 2025, when the Israel-Palestine conflict broke out, local Chinese enterprises faced high safety risks. Ping An helped clients complete safe evacuations within six hours, including vehicle deployment, route planning in conflict zones, and border clearance coordination. Over ten days, it assisted 14 companies in evacuating 74 stranded Chinese citizens from the Israel-Palestine danger zones, providing a security coverage of 43.85 million yuan and a payout of 1.2109 million yuan. Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance became the first insurance company in the industry to assist in the successful evacuation of personnel from high-risk overseas areas during this incident. As of now, Ping An’s global emergency rescue network covers 233 countries and regions, having provided rescue services in multiple overseas emergencies, helping over 100,000 people.
China Ping An states that the company will continue to monitor clients in high-risk areas to ensure prompt response to rescue needs. Whether or not they are Ping An customers, anyone can call the emergency hotline 95511 (+86 755 95511 abroad) for assistance. No matter where you are in the world or what emergency you face, China Ping An is always online, ready to respond with professionalism and care, safeguarding everyone’s peace of mind.
