Ripple's Prime platform now supports client trading of the full suite of cryptocurrency futures listed on Coinbase Derivatives, including nano BTC and ETH contracts, as well as Solana and XRP futures. This provides institutional investors with a regulated derivatives trading channel, with these derivatives cleared through Nodal Clear and regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This move builds on Ripple's acquisition of top broker Hidden Road for $1.25 billion last year and is part of its series of acquisitions aimed at expanding its institutional business.
