On March 2nd, the “Big Three” oil companies in A-shares all hit the daily limit. By the close, China National Petroleum Corporation (601857.SH) closed at 11.95 yuan per share, reaching a new high in nearly 11 years; China National Offshore Oil Corporation (600938.SH) closed at 39.46 yuan per share, hitting a new high since its listing in 2022; China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (600028.SH) closed at 7.11 yuan per share, reaching a new high since October 2024.
On the news front, international oil prices surged significantly on March 2nd. According to Wind data, Brent crude oil prices rose by as much as 13%, surpassing $82 per barrel; WTI crude oil rose by over 12%, breaking through $75 per barrel. Subsequently, the gains narrowed.
