People’s Financial News, March 6 — At this year’s National People’s Congress and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang Lizong, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and president of the Guangdong High-Tech Industry Chamber of Commerce, proposed establishing a systematic lifelong learning system and vocational training programs nationwide. He stated that, against the backdrop of technological advancements, especially the widespread application of artificial intelligence and robotics, it is recommended that the government, enterprises, schools, industry associations, and individual workers jointly form a structural, systematic, and forward-looking lifelong learning system. This system would provide institutional training opportunities for workers to better adapt to technological developments, promote industrial upgrading, technological progress, and balance employment opportunities for workers.
