Emiliano Aguilar expresses his admiration for Cazzu in a heartfelt statement
Amid the media attention surrounding his family, Emiliano Aguilar, the older brother of Ángela Aguilar, has clearly reaffirmed his artistic preference: he favors Cazzu. The member of the Aguilar dynasty, who has been distanced from his family circle for years, has not hesitated to publicly show his support for the Argentine trap artist, especially after the release of “DOLCE” on January 22. Through various posts, Emiliano has highlighted the talent and artistic greatness of what he calls “La Jefa,” sparking reactions on social media.
The question that left no doubt: Emiliano chooses Cazzu
Recently, the rapper appeared on a RadioShow podcast where he was asked a hypothetical question: if he had the chance to collaborate musically with his brother-in-law Christian Nodal or Cazzu, who would he choose? His answer was immediate and without hesitation. Emiliano Aguilar chose the Argentine artist, reaffirming his stance firmly.
“She already knows what my answer is. Obviously, with Cazzu, my girl. If they put Christian Nodal and Cazzu in front of me, well, ‘La Jefa’ (…) plus, she’s my genre,” responded Pepe Aguilar’s son on the podcast. The statement did not go unnoticed on social media, especially considering that Nodal is now part of Emiliano’s extended family through his marriage to Ángela Aguilar. This background is even more relevant given that Cazzu and Christian Nodal were previously a couple and share a daughter, little Inti, who is about a year old.
Balancing artistic preference and personal respect
Despite his clear choice, Emiliano Aguilar clarified that his musical preference does not imply any conflict or hostility with Christian Nodal. In the same podcast, he acknowledged having a good relationship with the singer of “Ya no somos ni seremos,” whom he respects both as an artist and as a person. The rapper emphasized that he has never denied Nodal’s talent nor questioned the quality of his music.
“I like him. He has good songs, I’ve never met him in person. I really like his music, I’ve never denied it,” Emiliano shared. This clarification is important to understand that his preference for Cazzu in a hypothetical collaboration is based on artistic reasons and genre affinity, not personal or family differences.
About the infidelity rumors: Emiliano prefers not to speculate
When asked specifically about rumors that Christian Nodal was unfaithful to Cazzu with Ángela Aguilar, Emiliano took a clear stance: he’s simply not interested in the topic. Ángela’s brother expressed his disinterest in family gossip, prioritizing his focus on his music career and personal work.
“I don’t care, man. Honestly, I don’t give a damn, I don’t know. I don’t get involved in that,” he responded directly. However, he also pointed out that his previous answer to the question “Nodal or Cazzu?” could be seen as an implicit response to many other questions surrounding the love triangle. With this statement, Emiliano reaffirmed his position gracefully: “The question you just asked me can answer many other questions I might have. Christian Nodal or Cazzu? Cazzu, bro.”
Emiliano’s family context
It’s important to note that Emiliano Aguilar has been estranged from his close family for years, which is why he missed significant moments like Ángela Aguilar and Christian Nodal’s wedding. This distancing partly explains why he has maintained his own independent perspective, separate from the media circuits surrounding the Aguilar family. His consistent support for Cazzu reflects his alignment with his personal artistic values, far from any family or commercial interests that might be at play.
Emiliano’s stance exemplifies how it’s possible to admire multiple artists—recognizing Nodal’s talent—while clearly favoring another performer, in this case Cazzu and her artistic proposal within the Latin trap genre.
