People’s Financial News, March 7 — On the morning of March 7, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held a press conference focused on people’s livelihoods. Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Wang Xiaoping stated that this year, an estimated 12.7 million college graduates will enter the workforce. The Ministry will explore employment potential through various channels, expand grassroots employment opportunities, help young people showcase their talents across different industries, seize the spring recruitment and pre-graduation time windows, promote employment public services to enter campuses early, and carry out large-scale employment internships and skills training.

For older workers, the Ministry will launch a series of skills training programs suitable for them, deepen labor cooperation, and broaden employment avenues for migrant workers.

To prevent returning to poverty and falling into poverty again, the Ministry will strengthen regular employment assistance, provide employment support for difficult groups, and help them stabilize employment and increase income.
