Wall Street Buying Coins, Regulatory Legislation—Bitcoin Is Going Through Its "Coming of Age"

Every financial market growth involves a phase:
From rebellious youth to social adulthood.
And now, Bitcoin seems to be going through such a process.
Recently, Eric Trump stated that the US Bitcoin holdings have exceeded 6,500 BTC.
At the same time, asset management giant Blackstone increased its holdings by 17,600 BTC, investing $1.28 billion.
More importantly, US regulators are pushing forward legislation on cryptocurrencies and prediction markets.
These three pieces of news together actually indicate one thing:
The crypto market is being integrated into the traditional financial system.
Many people get nervous at the mention of regulation, as if it’s a betrayal of the crypto spirit.
But historically, almost all mature markets have gone through a regulation phase.
Stock markets did.
Futures markets did.
Internet finance did as well.
The biggest change brought by regulation is actually one thing:
Clear rules.
And once rules are clear, the biggest beneficiaries are often large funds.
Because they can make long-term investments in a defined environment.
So in the next few years, the crypto market is likely to develop a new structure:
Retail investors provide liquidity
Institutions provide stability
Both work together to drive market development.
As for prediction market legislation, that’s another very interesting topic.
If prediction markets gain legal status, they could become a new financial instrument:
Using market prices to predict future events.
It sounds like science fiction, but it’s already appearing on some platforms.
So, in the future, the financial world might see a very interesting combination:
Blockchain + Prediction Markets + AI
By then, markets will not only be trading assets but also trading information and probabilities.#深度创作营
