According to data from the Statistics and Census Service of Macau, benefiting from multiple large-scale events held in Macau in the fourth quarter of 2025 and a series of measures by the SAR government to attract tourists, the number of visitors to Macau saw a significant increase, driving service exports to maintain rapid growth. Macau’s overall economy continued its steady progress. The revised gross domestic product (GDP) for the fourth quarter of 2025 was MOP 115.72 billion, a real increase of 7.6% year-on-year, with the economic size recovering to 94.1% of the same period in 2019. The revised annual GDP for 2025 was MOP 418.04 billion, a real increase of 4.7% year-on-year, with the economic size recovering to 89.6% of 2019. (Voice of the Greater Bay Area)
