Due to market expectations of a major tokenomics reform on March 12, the trading price of Polkadot (DOT) is close to $1.50. This reform will introduce a hard cap of 2.1 billion DOT and reduce issuance by 53.6%. The launch of the first US spot Polkadot ETF—21Shares' TDOT—with an initial capital of $11 million has boosted institutional investor interest. From a technical perspective, DOT needs to close above $1.55 to break through $1.67, and if it fails to hold above $1.50, it could fall back to the support level near $1.22.
