On March 9th, the National Development and Reform Commission announced that, based on the comparison between the average prices during the first 10 working days of March and the previous 10 days before the last price adjustment, and in accordance with the current refined oil price mechanism, domestic gasoline and diesel prices will increase by 695 yuan and 670 yuan per ton, respectively, starting from 24:00 on March 9th.

A relevant official from the National Development and Reform Commission stated that China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and other crude oil processing enterprises should organize production and transportation of refined oil to ensure stable market supply and strictly implement national pricing policies. Local authorities should intensify market supervision and inspection, severely crack down on violations of national pricing policies, and maintain normal market order. Consumers can report price violations through the 12315 platform.

During this round of refined oil price adjustment cycle, international oil prices have risen sharply. The Price Monitoring Center of the National Development and Reform Commission predicts that changes in Middle East situations are the main factor influencing future international oil price trends.
