Anterix (NASDAQ: ATEX) has expanded its collaboration with Qualcomm to hasten the deployment of next-generation private wireless connectivity for utilities. This partnership, focusing on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SDX35-3 and SDX32-3 IoT Modems, will deliver 4G and 5G cellular connectivity over Anterix’s 900 MHz broadband platform, enhancing grid modernization and resilience. Eight utilities have already adopted Anterix-enabled private wireless, with the initiative further supported by the FCC’s expansion of the 900 MHz band.
