The United States claims it is escalating the war against Iran, reducing the possibility of negotiations between both sides
Odaily Planet Daily reports that U.S. officials say military actions against Iran are escalating, and diplomatic negotiations are unlikely, which undoubtedly dampens President Trump’s claims that the conflict could be resolved quickly. U.S. Middle East envoy Witkov stated that U.S. leaders are always willing to engage in dialogue but remain skeptical of Iran’s willingness to negotiate. “The questions we raise today are the same as those we raised in previous negotiations—whether they truly want to resolve this issue through diplomacy,” Witkov said. “So far, all signs indicate the answer is no.” The U.S. Department of Defense also reiterated this earlier today, stating that the U.S. and Israel are launching their most intense attacks on Iran and will not give up until Iran is thoroughly defeated, a more aggressive stance than Trump’s comments on Monday.
