China's Satellite Navigation System Management Office released a statement that the BeiDou Satellite Navigation System will undergo in-orbit upgrades in the near future, with more precise navigation capabilities to come. Meanwhile, the "Bringing Stars to Earth" project is also advancing, particularly in the Beijing East Sixth Ring Road tunnel, where BeiDou signal transmission base stations have been deployed to achieve seamless positioning and navigation services both inside and outside the tunnel. Zhang Jun, a senior engineer at the BeiDou Application Development Research Institute under China North Industries Group, stated that this technology is applicable not only to newly constructed tunnels but also to the renovation of existing tunnels.
