Official Notice: Lu Ha Livestream Sales Beef Tripe Processing Environment Issues - Company Involved Suspended for Rectification

Beijing Business Daily (Reporter Guo Binlu) reported that on March 15, the trending topic of influencer Lu Ha’s beef tripe processing environment issue went viral. In response, the Jialing District Market Supervision Administration of Nanchong City, Sichuan, issued a notice regarding the “chaos in influencer beef tripe production” video: they have filed a case against Chuan Niu Fu Food Co., Ltd., ordered them to suspend production immediately, conduct a shutdown and rectification, and temporarily register and preserve relevant raw materials and finished products. Samples were also taken for testing on the same day.

Previously, China Food News received consumer reports about influencer Lu Ha’s beef tripe products. Despite having nearly ten million followers, the behind-the-scenes processing environment of the influencer’s ready-to-eat layered beef tripe products is disgusting. Operators smoked freely during steaming and boiling, the beef tripe was cooled and shoveled away on damaged epoxy resin floors, and the soaking process allegedly involved the illegal use of hydrogen peroxide.
