Egypt's Foreign Minister Visits Gulf Countries to Mediate Regional Tensions

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the 15th saying that Foreign Minister Abdel Atti has departed for Doha, the capital of Qatar, to begin a visit to Gulf countries. The statement said that this visit aims to conduct urgent consultations with relevant countries regarding recent regional military escalations. Egypt will work through joint actions to ease regional tensions and prioritize diplomatic efforts to maintain peace and security in the region. (Xinhua)
