Viewpoint Network News: On March 15, according to media reports, Xiaomi Group’s Major Appliances General Manager Dan Lianyu stated at an internal meeting themed on quality that by 2026, the company aims to proactively respond to and reverse the existing perception of “poor quality” among users. Additionally, suppliers who cannot keep up with development pace will be eliminated.

According to publicly available information, Dan Lianyu said that innovation determines how high Xiaomi’s major appliances business can fly, while quality determines how far it can go. “Quality management is rigid,” and this principle must serve as the decision-making baseline for leaders of major appliance product lines. Any quality defect in a product line will directly damage Xiaomi Group’s reputation, especially since major appliances have a lifecycle of 5-10 years.
