Bank of China Tangshan Branch Helps Hétou Old Street Turn “Traffic” into “Retention”

During the 2026 Spring Festival, Hétou Old Street Scenic Area in Tangshan was bustling with activity.

To precisely serve the development of regional特色产业, Bank of China Tangshan Branch (hereinafter referred to as “Tangshan Bank”) proactively provided services and efficiently completed the credit funding for the Tangshan Hétou Old Street Scenic Area project just before the Spring Festival. With financial speed and warmth, they fully ensured the smooth operation, scene renewal, and high-quality service of the scenic area during the holiday. During the Spring Festival, Hétou Old Street was extremely popular, with crowds flowing in, successfully becoming a new cultural and tourism consumption landmark in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, achieving both social and economic benefits.

As a key cultural and tourism integration demonstration project in Tangshan, Hétou Old Street Scenic Area carries the important mission of inheriting the city’s cultural heritage and stimulating consumption vitality. As the 2026 Spring Festival approached, the scenic area faced multiple pressures: urgent operational funding needs, heavy scene upgrade tasks, and high standards for visitor services. Tangshan Bank quickly assembled cross-level, multi-line specialized service teams led by bank leaders, who went deep into the front lines of Hétou Old Street operations to conduct precise docking, fully understand and grasp the company’s specific funding needs and timelines.

Faced with a tight timeframe, Tangshan Bank launched a financial service green channel, with close coordination between front, middle, and back offices. Customer managers and approval personnel followed the process throughout, optimizing procedures and streamlining steps under the premise of legal compliance and risk control, achieving efficient and precise credit funding for Hétou Old Street Scenic Area.

With the strong support of financial resources, during the 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival, Hétou Old Street Scenic Area in Tangshan welcomed visitors with a brand-new look. The area was filled with festive atmosphere, various activities, and a perfect blend of traditional folk customs and modern light and shadow effects, attracting many local residents as well as tourists from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and across the country. It was praised by visitors and media as a “must-visit check-in spot for Spring Festival in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei” and a “new cultural tourism consumption landmark.” The lively crowds directly boosted the entire chain of dining, accommodation, shopping, and other consumption within and around the scenic area, generating significant economic ripple effects and upgrading the quality of the cultural tourism industry.

The success of the Hétou Old Street Scenic Area project in Tangshan is a microcosm of Tangshan Bank’s commitment to its main responsibilities and deep engagement in local economic development. This precise credit support not only alleviated the urgent needs of the enterprise but also explored an effective path for the deep integration of “finance + culture and tourism.”
