Xinhua News Agency, New York, March 15 — (Reporter Shi Chun) Due to the ongoing geopolitical tensions caused by the US and Israel’s attacks on Iran, international crude oil futures prices once again broke through the $100 per barrel mark on the evening of the 15th at the start of a new trading week. As of 7:50 p.m. Eastern Time on the 15th, the highest price for NYMEX light crude oil futures for April delivery rose to $101.32 per barrel; the May delivery Brent crude oil futures in London briefly increased to $106.17 per barrel.
