Enso Network Completes Its First Epoch as Rewards Go Live
The Enso Network has reached a major milestone with the completion of its first epoch and the distribution of rewards to participants. From the moment the protocol went live, stakers and validators have served as the foundation of the network’s security and functionality.
Network Scaling and Validator Performance
Since genesis, the network has grown rapidly and demonstrated its capacity to operate at scale. More than 900,000 ENSO tokens have been staked, underscoring strong community participation. Validators have played a central role throughout this expansion, handling more than 1.1 million cross-chain consumer requests and securing over $800 million in Shortcut volume from end to end. Across the validator set, performance remained consistently high, with a success rate of 97 percent.
This level of reliability has enabled Enso to support integrations across new chains, arbitrage systems, aggregators, perpetual trading platforms, and a growing set of onchain applications. Every request processed through the network has been secured by the stakeholders who committed their tokens and trust to Enso’s infrastructure.
Reward Distribution and the Role of Staking
The distribution for the first epoch reflects the collective contribution of validators and stakers. It also reinforces the principle that staking is not only a mechanism for earning rewards, but a way to align the interests of the people who secure the network with those who use it.
According to the Enso team, network usage and staking are closely tied. As more applications integrate and more flows execute across Enso, the value of securing the network increases. Participants who are currently staking can now claim their rewards at the official claim site.
Expanding Validator Participation
The team also announced plans to open additional validator slots to the community. Anyone who meets the technical standards and can maintain the network’s high performance thresholds will be eligible to join the validator set. Expanding participation is expected to strengthen decentralization and extend Enso’s security model to more members of its community.
A Live Network Supported by Its Users
The Enso Network is now fully live, operating, and scaling across multiple use cases. The team emphasized that the progress achieved so far has been made possible by the early contributors who secured the network from its first block.
“The network is live. And you helped start it,” the announcement concluded.
