Succinct is committed to becoming the underlying platform for Web3 zk-SNARKs computation, creating a Prover Network in a modular and decentralized manner. This network, composed of global hardware and software contributors, provides on-demand scalable ZK proof capabilities, effectively addressing the high costs and resource centralization limitations of the past, and becoming a flexible foundational computing layer.
In collaboration with ZAN (Ant Chain OpenLabs), Succinct has deployed the SP1 proof system on FPGA, achieving a performance increase of 20 times over CPU, significantly reducing computing costs. In the future, there is hope to develop dedicated ASIC chips to make ZK computing efficient and specialized, enhancing overall scalability potential.
PROVE token is the driving force of the Succinct ecosystem, serving both as a payment tool and a governance role. Developers use PROVE to pay verification fees, and nodes stake PROVE to ensure network security and prevent malicious behavior; governance weight is also introduced into community autonomy through staking. In addition, the ecosystem economy has a circular mechanism where Provers provide computing power for rewards, and delegators stake to share the profits, while the platform takes a transaction fee to maintain operations.
Succinct aims to become a key infrastructure supporting Layer 2, Rollups, ZK DeFi, and identity verification. With the explosive demand for privacy and scalability, the platform will steadily promote decentralized governance, share value with the community, and create a fully open ZK ecosystem.
Succinct is not only a payment system but also the cornerstone for opening a new era of decentralized zk-SNARKs. By combining hardware acceleration with a wide node network, it creates a Web3 computing solution that balances efficiency and privacy, helping the blockchain industry reach new heights.
