ByteDance originally planned to launch this new video model to global users in mid-March, but the plan has now been put on hold. The report adds that ByteDance’s legal team is investigating and resolving potential legal issues, while engineers are increasing protective measures to prevent the model from generating content that could lead to further intellectual property infringements.
