On July 15, former President Donald Trump announced that he had convened a meeting in the Oval Office with 11 members of Congress to go over the legislative framework for the "GENIUS Act." According to his statement, all attendees agreed unanimously to support the proposed rules by the next morning.
Meanwhile, earlier reports revealed that the U.S. House of Representatives did not succeed in passing a procedural vote related to a cryptocurrency bill. A second attempt at the vote is expected as early as Wednesday.
