Step by Step — How to Join Gate Launchpad

The following steps are applicable to both new and existing Gate users. (Always check the relevant Launchpad page for project-specific details.)

Preparation

1. Gate account & KYC: It is recommended that your gate account be active and your KYC verification completed.

2. Required funds: The token(s) to be used for the subscription are typically GUSD, USDT, GT, or other tokens specified by the project. (The project page provides the exact information.) Note: Borrowed/borrowed funds are not eligible for Launchpad participation.

Step 1 — Deposit Funds

Deposit a sufficient amount of GUSD, USDT, GT (or the subscription token specified by the project) into your spot account. The minimum participation amount is specified on the project page.

Step 2 — Go to Launchpad Page

For XPL: https://www.gate.com/launchpad/2339 (directly from the project page).

Find the "Subscribe Now" or similar button on the project page.

Step 3 — Subscribe

On the subscription screen, select the amount you wish to deposit and confirm. The relevant amount will be locked for the duration of the subscription.

Step 4 — Lockup & Refund Process

If the subscription is successful, the relevant amount will be withdrawn from your account (for token allocation) within 4 hours after the subscription period ends.

Any canceled or unallocated portions of the subscription will be unlocked and returned to your spot account within 4 hours of the subscription expiration.

Step 5 — How is Token Allocation Calculated?
Gate can use two different methods (the project page specifies which method to use):

Method 1 (Pro-rata): Tokens are distributed based on your share of the total funds raised by the project, based on your total commitment.

Method 2 (Hourly Average): Allocation is calculated based on the ratio of your hourly average locked amount during the subscription period to the project's overall hourly average.

In both cases, the Maximum Limit specified for each subscriber will not be exceeded.

Step 6 — Token Distribution

After the subscription ends, the allocated tokens are deposited into your spot account. The distribution schedule and transaction details are clearly stated on the project page.

Step 7 — Launchpad Bonuses & Simple Earn

Users participating with GUSD, GT, and/or USDT may be eligible to earn additional bonuses by choosing to upgrade to the Simple Earn Fixed Product after the project ends (personal distribution limits apply).

Note: If the maximum distribution reward has been reached, you may not receive the additional bonus. Check the Simple Earn participation details and bonus rules on the project page.
