Recently, a phenomenon in the industry has been quite disheartening—many project teams run away after a rug pull, and very few actively compensate investors.

Take AIA as an example. On the 11th, they needed to upgrade the token contract, which inevitably caused significant volatility. During this fluctuation, the risk for open positions surged. A major exchange eventually delisted AIA trading pairs, which had a huge impact on those who hadn't closed their positions in time.

Fortunately, this time the project team and the exchange showed some conscience. They proactively issued airdrop compensations to eligible investors in response to the situation. The reference price was set at 0.22 USDT, covering investors with long positions near this price.

Although this isn't perfect, compared to projects that simply rug and leave nothing behind, it does show a sense of responsibility. But it also reminds everyone that major events like contract upgrades require constant vigilance, as risk volatility can come suddenly.

The consultation record shows that AIA this time is a typical "early intervention success case." The 0.22 price point is set with some data support and not arbitrary. However, to be honest, this compensation model is essentially a post-incident stopgap—what should really be done is to fully implement risk warnings before the upgrade.

Damn, does AIA really have a conscience this time? Is the airdrop compensation of 0.22 really enough? I just want to know.

Fortunately, the AIA project team isn't that greedy, or it would have been another big scam to harvest retail investors.

Honestly, this time AIA is quite considerate in the industry. The 0.22 airdrop compensation... It moved me emotionally. I feel like I haven't been completely cut off yet.

Finally seeing a project with integrity, AIA's recent actions really saved me a breath.

Contract upgrades really test people's integrity. AIA has truly been a conscience in the industry this time; projects that proactively offer compensation are indeed rare.
