In the past year, the story of real-world assets (RWA) being brought on-chain has become increasingly lively. From BlackRock's BUIDL fund to Pineapple Financial's $10 billion mortgage asset package, along with various government bonds, private credit, and commodities being tokenized, the entire RWA market has surpassed the $35 billion mark. This is not just a number; it reflects the reality that Financial Institutions are beginning to seriously embrace Blockchain technology.

Looking ahead to 2026, an increasing number of on-chain infrastructures are preparing for asset tokenization. Certain blockchain platforms focused on financial applications are establishing more efficient on-chain asset representation and management systems.

From a technical architecture perspective, the MultiVM mainnet is designed to lay the foundation for the on-chain of different types of assets. Specifically, it includes three aspects: First, the native RWA support module, which has introduced permission management and clearing settlement functions through recent upgrades, and has currently integrated some institutional assets as well as various commodity and stock tokenization projects. Second, substantial cooperation at the institutional level—assets from Pineapple Financial have already been put on-chain, and Canary Capital has also made relevant applications, along with support from traditional financial players like Revolut for such platform assets. These collaborations have genuinely built a bridge between CeFi and DeFi. Third, the continuous expansion of ecological applications, from stock perpetual contract trading to coverage of more asset types, combined with community mechanisms such as token buyback mechanisms to maintain ecological health.

In simple terms, to adapt to the rapid development of the RWA track, a Layer-1 blockchain designed specifically for finance is competing with a combination of MultiVM architecture, fast block confirmation, and native RWA modules. As this field continues to mature, the role of such platforms in enhancing asset liquidity, ensuring transaction compliance, and improving transaction efficiency will become increasingly critical.

BlackRock getting on board with RWA is really not child's play; the $35 billion behind this number is a signal that traditional finance is starting to seriously engage with blockchain. Wait, can this MultiVM really hold so many assets on-chain? It feels like the risk is still a bit high. The fact that Pineapple Financial dares to put hundreds of billions in assets on-chain shows that some institutions indeed believe in this path. CeFi and DeFi really need to integrate; how will regulation work in the future? I'm a bit concerned. The native RWA module combined with fast confirmation sounds good, but how will it perform in real applications?

RWA is really taking off, now that BlackRock has entered the scene, who still dares to say this is just speculation? In fact, it's traditional finance giving in, finally willing to go on-chain. 35 billion sounds like a lot, but compared to traditional finance, it's really just a drop in the ocean, and there's plenty of room for growth ahead. Is this MultiVM thing reliable, or will it just be another unfinished project? I just want to know how that 10 billion package from Pineapple is specifically settled, it sounds nice as a bridge, but isn’t it just the same old centralized setup? I’m here to see how Revolut is going to crash; I'm really looking forward to it. Token buyback mechanisms to maintain the ecosystem? Sounds just like those shitcoins. Perpetual futures combined with RWA, is this to make it easier for retail investors to get played for suckers? Is this round of RWA really different from before, or are we just going to be tricked again? The so-called bridge between CeFi and DeFi sounds nice, but it’s really just making it easier for your money to be taken.

Wow, 35 billion has been broken now, TradFi is really serious BlackRock has entered the game, this is getting serious RWA in this track is really hot, is MultiVM going to da moon? Revolut has come in, DeFi and CeFi are really going to join hands Wait, is the clearing and settlement function really reliable, how is it guaranteed? Token buyback to maintain the ecosystem? Sounds a bit risky If everything is on-chain by 2026, TradFi is going to be reshuffled That 10 billion asset package from Pineapple must have a lot of people watching No matter how nice the words are, we need to see if there's real business, don't just hype Bro, this time it's not just another concept hype, right?

35 billion is just an appetizer; the key is whether the stability of the verification nodes can support this magnitude.
