After many years of struggling in the crypto world, I gradually realized a truth - making money and losing money often comes down to a single thought.

It has been 8 years since I entered the crypto space, and during this time I have experienced great ups and downs. Especially in the past two years, my account balance finally jumped to eight digits; the feeling at that moment is hard to describe. Compared to the complexities of traditional business—monitoring the supply chain, negotiating contracts, worrying about customers defaulting—the pace of the crypto world is completely different. As long as the direction is right, many worries can be greatly reduced.

People often ask me what the secret to trading cryptocurrencies is. To be honest, the answer is really simple—**mindset comes first, technique comes second**.

**Several Understandings About Market Structure**

BTC is always the big brother. The entire market revolves around it. When it rises, other coins have a chance; when it falls, small coins suffer along. ETH can occasionally break out with an independent trend, but don’t expect altcoins to withstand a market downturn.

The relationship between BTC and USDT is like a seesaw. This is a very practical observation: when USDT starts to appreciate, one should be cautious with Bitcoin; when Bitcoin is surging too rapidly, it is often wise to hold some USDT to secure profits.

**Trading Opportunities in Key Time Periods**

The "spike" phenomenon is likely to occur between 12 AM and 1 AM, as many people place their orders before going to bed, only to find they have unexpectedly gained some profits in the morning.

The period from 6 to 8 AM is a barometer for observing the trend of the day. If it dropped the previous night and continues to decline during these two hours, directly averaging down is likely to result in a rebound that same day; conversely, if it rose the previous night and continues to rise during these two hours, one should consider taking profits, as a pullback is likely to occur that day.

Don't get distracted at this node at 5 PM. Due to the time difference, this is when US funds are entering the market, which can easily trigger significant volatility.

As for the so-called "Black Friday", don't be overly superstitious. Fridays have seen increases, decreases, and sideways movements before; the key is still to look at news and capital flows, while technical analysis is just a reference.

**The most practical piece of advice**

As long as it's not a pump-and-dump coin and there is a normal trading volume, don't panic if it drops. In three to five days or a month, it can basically recover. If you have spare money, you can buy in batches to lower your average cost; if you don't have spare money, just hold on, as generally, it won't be a big issue.

The transaction that left the deepest impression on me: I bought a well-known cryptocurrency for 0.085, and I've held onto it since then, seeing it multiply over 20 times. This kind of return isn't achieved through prediction, but rather through a steady mindset and sufficient confidence.

The rules of the cryptocurrency world are really just that; those with a steady mindset can always go further.

Having an eight-digit number is indeed great, but the most heartbreaking are those who went back from eight digits to six... It's easy to talk about mindset, but hard to practice.

Eight digits? Dude, you've been playing well these past two years, while I'm still hovering around six digits.
