Here's what happens when projects blow up too fast—they forget what Web3 is actually about.
They try to become the center of gravity. They want to control the narrative, make all the calls, be the voice everyone listens to. Classic Web2 move.
But that's not how this space works. Web3 was built on a fundamentally different premise: no single entity should hold all the power.
Some projects get this. Some don't. Elsa stands out because it's designed differently—it refuses to grab the mic and dominate. Instead of positioning itself as the protagonist, it steps back and lets the community actually lead.
That's the difference between projects that just ride hype and ones that understand the deeper ethos of decentralization.

You're right, too many projects are trying to manage like parents, resulting in them becoming more and more Web2.

You are absolutely right. Nowadays, too many projects are just Web2 things dressed in a Web3 skin.
There are very few who truly understand Decentralization; most still want to be the father.

You are right, too many projects get big and forget their original intention.
Really, at the beginning, they all talked about Decentralization, but after two months of spending money on marketing, they immediately turned into that Web2 trap.

In simple terms, most projects haven't changed from the Web2 model.
Really, once they get big, they start controlling the narrative, and the community's voice disappears. Isn't this just going back to centralization?
Where has the spirit of Decentralization gone...
